Positive: Everything, the place is beautiful. But the staff was absolutely exceptional, probably the best hotel staff we have ever had. I became ill and not only did the staff walk my wife to the pharmacy to ensure everything was correct they also ordered food for me and delivered it to my room. I have been to 46 countries and thos was by far the best hotel staff I have ever had. The facilities are amazing as well.

Positive: The staff were attentive, professional and warmly characteristic. The hotel itself carries a very warm and comforting feeling. The staff introduced me to Ridvan, owner of Sore Tours, and we at breakfast and went on a tour of ancient sites. He is awesome to have as company amd as a knowledgeable guide, with facts and higher energies too. Ridvans insta - @gobeklitepe.tours

Negative: The poly blankets sparked at night time when touched. All in all I'd definitely stay again if I visited Urfa.

Positive: Charming historic home with central courtyard, rooftop views and well-decorated rooms. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff (aided by Google translate). Quick laundry turn-around. Plenty of hot water with good pressure. Short walk to wonderful central bazaar

Negative: On day when a bus tour was staying and used up all the space, we had to eat breakfast in the (atmospheric) stone cellar with no windows or wifi. Always challenging to fully modernise an historic place, but charging points in the room were hard to access and could not accommodate adapters.

Positive: Aside from a gorgeous look and great location, this hotel really looks after guests. They went above and beyond to make our trip to Urfa fun and welcoming. This is a hospitality driven business, which cares for their guests as they would visiting family. Nothing was too much trouble. There was lots of suggestions about how to spend our time we took, and had a much richer time because of it. The breakfast is excellent.

Positive: Well done restored historic property in a great location: walking distance to museums, bazaars, and historic sites. Lots of levels and courtyards provided great variety of spaces. The staff were fantastic- very accommodating and helpful despite the language barrier (Google translate was used a lot). The breakfast was a feast. They even made a special early breakfast for me when I had to catch an early bus.

Negative: Some music venues in the neighborhood were loud, but quiet after midnight. Turning on the A/C and the thick walls solved that issue.

Summary: Beautiful historical property in old town neighborhood run by wonderful people who care.
